Insurance Information

Supporting access to behavioral health care

BWellness Behavioral Health is continuing to expand insurance participation and payer relationships in order to better serve the needs of individuals and families seeking behavioral health services.

Insurance Participation

BWellness Behavioral Health is actively working to expand participation with insurance providers and payer networks. Insurance credentialing and contracting can take time, and additional insurance plans may be added as they become available.

Clients are encouraged to contact the clinic regarding current insurance participation, coverage questions, private pay options, and available services.

Depending on the service requested, some services may be available through insurance while others may be offered through private pay arrangements.

Clients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage, benefits, referral requirements, deductibles, co-payments, coinsurance responsibilities, and authorization requirements when applicable.

Private Pay Services

Private pay services refer to services paid directly by the client rather than billed through an insurance company.

Some clients choose private pay services for greater scheduling flexibility, privacy preferences, services not covered by insurance, or when insurance participation is not currently available for a requested service.

Private pay fees may vary depending on the type of service provided, length of appointment, evaluation requirements, and complexity of care.

Clients will be informed of applicable fees, payment expectations, and financial responsibilities prior to services whenever possible.

Co-Payments & Financial Responsibility

Clients are responsible for any required co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance balances, or other financial responsibilities associated with their insurance plan.

Co-payments and other balances may be due at the time services are provided unless other arrangements have been discussed with the clinic.

Insurance coverage does not guarantee payment for services, and clients remain financially responsible for balances not covered by insurance carriers.

Appointment Attendance & Cancellation Policy

BWellness Behavioral Health values appointment times reserved for clients and asks clients to provide advance notice whenever they are unable to attend a scheduled appointment.

Late Arrivals & No Shows

Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late without notifying the provider may be considered a missed appointment or may need to reschedule depending on provider availability and scheduling limitations.

Cancellation Requests

Clients are encouraged to provide at least 48 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling appointments whenever possible.

Repeated missed appointments, repeated late arrivals, or repeated late cancellations may affect scheduling availability or continuation of services.

Financial Assistance & Support

BWellness Behavioral Health understands that financial concerns can sometimes create barriers to accessing behavioral health care.

Depending on circumstances, clients may discuss available payment arrangements, lower cost service options, community resources, or other available support programs with the clinic.

Financial assistance availability may vary based on clinic resources, service type, eligibility considerations, and other factors.

Our goal is to support access to behavioral health services while working collaboratively with clients regarding financial concerns whenever possible.
